General Hospital spoilers tease that Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) just reunited with his father, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), earlier this year. Before, Jason returned, Danny had believed his father had died on Cassadine Island about three years prior to Jason’s return.

Danny was thrilled to finally reunite with father after so long, but his mother Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) was hesitant to say the least about letting Danny get to know his father all over again.

General Hospital Spoilers – Danny Morgan Is Very Much Like Jason Morgan

Danny has a lot of the same characteristics that Jason possesses. Danny is wilder and prone to taking risks, just like Jason always has been. Sam didn’t want Jason to influence Danny any more than he already had, so she limited the amount of time Danny and Jason could spend time together.

Sam was also worried that one of Jason’s enemies might go after him by targeting Danny. She finally seemed to relent a bit since then. Jason and Danny have definitely bonded quite a bit since Sam eased up a bit.

GH Spoilers – Sam Morgan Is About To Die

Unfortunately, General Hospital spoilers reveal that Sam is about to suffer a tragic fate when she passes away in a few days. Sam is donating a portion of her liver so that Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havans) can have a shot at life.

In a bizarre twist, it seems that Lulu will eventually recover but Sam won’t make it. It’s not exactly clear just yet what the cause of Sam’s death will be, but it’s going to devastate Danny either way. And it seems like Jason will be an easy target for Danny’s upcoming rage.

General Hospital Spoilers – Danny Morgan Will Push His Father Away

Danny could easily push his father away after Sam’s untimely death. Danny will remember all those times that he disobeyed his mother in order to sneak a visit with Jason. He could easily blame himself and think that if he had just listened to Sam, maybe she would still be around.

Danny could very well push Jason away just when he needs his father the most. Of course, Jason wlll be patient. But it might be quite awhile before he’s ready to accept Sam’s death and take comfort with his father.
