And Robert Downey Jr continued to rock his new look as he attended a screening of his father’s biopic Sr at Picturehouse Central in London on Wednesday night.

The actor, 57, who plays himself in the film, looked cool in a purple T-shirt and mauve suit, which he accessorised with a statement necklace.

Robert added a pair of quirky glasses to his ensemble.

The Marvel actor was also sporting a smattering of grey stubble and his hair was showing signs of growing back after he recently shaved it off.

The upcoming film follows the tender account of the life and career of Robert Downey Sr, Robert’s father.

The following day, Robert attended a lunch reception celebrating Sr at Soho House.

He opted for a similar look in beige tones, while also adding a pair of equally eye-catching glasses.

Robert was joined at the event by broadcasting icon Louis Theroux.

Robert’s latest outing comes after he shocked fans with his new appearance as he attended the Governors Awards at the Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles.

He debuted his new bald look as he took to the red carpet alongside his  wife Susan at the star-studded event.

Robert has been sporting a buzz cut in recent months, but he has now taken it one step further by showcasing the clean-shaven style.

The Iron Man star, who is normally recognisable for his dark short spiky hair, now looks remarkably different.

During the evening, Robert looked dapper in a black suit and tie with a crisp white shirt, teamed with a pair of matching suit trousers.

Meanwhile, American film producer Susan, 49, looked elegant in a floor-length black dress with spaghetti straps and a sweetheart neckline.

She wore her brunette locks in pretty loose waves and opted for a glamorous soft pallet of make-up.

There is a reason behind Robert’s new look – his role in HBO’s The Sympathizer.

Robert posted a video to Instagram of himself receiving a haircut from his 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren at home at the end of October ahead of the new film.

Talking to his 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren Exton, 10, and Avri, eight, said: ‘I don’t want to have to wear a bald cap, so will you guys shave my head?’

The youngsters were then given a pair of electric clippers to shave off their dad’s locks in the video, which was captioned: ‘The things we do for our work… and our kids.’

Robert debuted his shorter hair at a special screening of Sr, which is a Netflix documentary about his late father, earlier this month.

He was wearing a graphic print T-shirt and a navy blazer.
