Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner have successfully sold their waterfront Miami home for $15 million after several months on the market and a $2 million price reduction, as reported by the Wall Street Journal.
The celebrity couple originally acquired this Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired property in September 2021 for $11 million and later relisted it for just under $17 million approximately a year later. Ultimately, it found a buyer, represented by David Pullman of ONE Sotheby’s International Realty, while Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner were represented by Carl Gambino of Compass.
Situated in the exclusive private community of Bay Point, near Biscayne Bay, this 1980s residence boasts a midcentury-style façade composed of wood, stone, and expansive glass walls. The spacious six-bedroom, nine-bathroom mansion features coral rock walls, beamed ceilings, and multi-toned hardwood floors. According to Pullman, the home offers a captivating blend of Cali and Bali aesthetics, drawing inspiration from Frank Lloyd Wright’s designs but infused with a tropical twist.
Joe Jonas commissioned Sarah Ivory to oversee a renovation that imbued the space with a “classic ’70s meets modern tropicalism” ambiance, as she shared with AD last year. To achieve this look, interior water features, including a koi pond adjacent to a winding glass staircase in the living room, were transformed into lush gardens adorned with tropical flora.
The open-plan main living area is highlighted by soaring 30-foot ceilings, a two-story double-sided travertine fireplace shared with an adjacent billiards room, and extensive glass walls that offer views of the private yard, enclosed by hedges and featuring multiple pools, a Һоt tub, and an outdoor kitchen. Outdoor amenities also include a 94-foot private dock with bay access, covered balconies, a private staff entrance, and a double-sided full-service bar for both indoor and outdoor entertaining.
Inside, you’ll find an all-white eat-in chef’s kitchen equipped with a massive marble island, a double-height library, a sauna, a gym, a wine room, and a dining room adorned with hand-painted floral wallpaper and a green Murano glass chandelier.
Throughout the home, playful colors are incorporated using classic Mah Jong Roche Bobois furniture covered in Missoni fabric, especially in the family room, entertainment room, and one of the bedrooms. As Ivory explained earlier last year, the aim was to reflect the vibrant Miami lifestyle with color and abundant greenery, a vision that’s been successfully realized in this stunning residence.
