Kevin Hart bought the Calabasas villa just to vacation with his family
In specific circumstances, having two properties can be advantageous, especially when you have substantial wealth at your disposal. Kevin Hart, a comedy icon with a reported net worth of $200 miℓℓiо𝚗, has invested $7 miℓℓiо𝚗 in an adjacent mansion to his existing property.
Hart’s primary residence, a custom-built Mediterranean-style mansion, was completed in 2018. It sprawls over 9,500 square feet in a gated community on the outskirts of Calabasas, occupying a 26-acre plot, with 24 acres of it being steep hillside.
This luxurious property features two guesthouses, a 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren’s playground, a spacious swimming pool, and a volleyball court.
Next door, on a 16.3-acre estate, sits an architecturally intriguing 9,300-square-foot mansion with a grey tiled roof, an infinity-edged pool, a tennis court, lush lawns, and extensive gardens. This property, built in 2004, was not officially listed for sale.
Kevin Hart acquired this neighboring residence from Shakim Compere, a renowned film producer known for his partnership with Queen Latifah in Flavour Unit Entertainment.
Compere purchased the estate in Calabasas for $6.7 miℓℓiо𝚗 in 2015, and while the exact terms of the sale to Hart remain undisclosed, it appears unlikely that they profited from the transaction.
With these two properties, Kevin Hart now oversees a sprawling 42-acre estate featuring two swimming pools, multiple sports facilities, and nearly 19,000 square feet of living space across various structures.
The second residence, discreetly tucked away behind gated entrances, boasts six bedrooms, six bathrooms, expansive formal living and dining areas with large windows, and elegant wide-plank oak floors.
