Liverpool’s new third kit for 2023/24 was introduced in spectacular way, with Alisson, Dominik Szoboszlai, and Missy Bo Kearns delighting supporters.
The new shirt was unveiled live at Liverpool’s historic Eventim Olympia in cooperation with Boss Nights, who invited hundreds of Liverpool fans to a sell-out pre-season concert.
The show, however, had a twist: the club’s third shirt was introduced live and exclusively to those in attendance.
Alisson took the stage first, playing lead guitar with vocalist Kieo, before inviting Szoboszlai and Kearns to join him in the new jersey.
A closer inspection exposes a purple ripple design with black sleeve cuffs, collarbone inserts, and side paneling.
The matchday outfit is completed by matching shorts and purple ripple socks. The Reds last wore purple during the 2018/19 season.
The design is unlikely to appear frequently in competitive action, but it is expected to be popular with fans.
The Liverpool crest and Nike Swoosh logos have a speckled surface from Nike Grind, which is created by recycling manufacturing trash and end-of-life shoes.
When the kit is used in European tournaments this season, it will have the LFC Foundation patch on the reverse. The LFC Foundation is the club’s official charity, providing life-changing opportunities for young people and families both at home and abroad.
The kit is now available for pre-order on LFC’s official web store and the LFC Store App, with delivery beginning on August 17th.

Alisson Becker, Liverpool’s goalkeeper, demonstrated his wonderful character as well as his guitar s𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁s at a special event for Reds fans on Thursday night.
The Reds’ No.1 surprised fans during a special BOSS Night at the Olympia in Liverpool, taking the stage with new recruit Dominik Szoboszlai and women’s player Missy Bo Kearns to perform Allez Allez Allez alongside Kieo.
The event was part of an outstanding and one-of-a-kind kit introduction for the new purple third kit.
It was a memorable night for many of the 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren in the audience, with signed shirts distributed to supporters.
“It was amazing, Missy Bo looked right at me and threw me a shirt,” said Phoebe Reynolds, who attended the ceremony with her father, Lee, who is a Kop season ticket holder.
“I knew some players were supposed to arrive, and when we got inside and saw the flag for Alisson, I guessed it was him!”
There was a large hint for those in attendance, with an Alisson flag on one side of the stage and a Szoboszlai banner on the other.
It was quite the introduction for Hungary’s new No.8, who arrived in Liverpool to the sound of a classic song that he will now be playing to at Anfield.
Earlier in the evening, DJ Katy Alex had gotten the crowd going, and John Barnes also delivered a fantastic rendition of The Sugar Hill Gang’s “Rappers Delight.”
The kit is now available for pre-order on LFC’s official web store and the LFC Store App, with delivery beginning on August 17th.
This will be hard to surpass in terms of kit premieres!

Hundreds of supporters attended the free event to see the new kit introduced.
