Disney+ has released a new trailer for season two of I Am Groot, a prequel to their hit Guardians of the Galaxy movies.
Action star Vin Diesel, 56, reprises his role as Baby Groot, the tree-like humanoid who is a member of the GOTG superhero team.
The trailer promises a strong mixture of action and laughter, as the adorable Groot finds himself exploring the universe aboard the Guardians’ spaceship.
Along the way, Groot comes across a variety of strange characters and environments and meets the challenges head on with his famous ‘I am Groot’ catchphrase.
GOTG co-star Bradley Cooper, 48, is also set to cameo on the show as his Marvel character Rocket Raccoon.

Meanwhile, GOTG director James Gunn, 57, is set to make a voice cameo as a speaking wrist watch.
The show will be a five part miniseries, with each episode running for about six minutes.
The animated tree is a key part of the Guardians Of The Galaxy trilogy and has been a beloved Marvel character since his debut in 1960.

Diesel voiced the character in all three movies as well as in Avengers: Endgame and Thor: Love and Thunder.
Groot was last seen on the big screen earlier this year in the blockbuster Guardians of the Galaxy 3.
The box office smash made over $1billion worldwide and it is rumoured a fourth installment will happen in the near future.
