And Zac Efron met some of Bondi Beach’s real lifesaving heroes during his promotional tour of Sydney on Wednesday.
The 29-year-old was pictured meeting the stars of TV’s Bondi Rescue alongside his co-star Alexandra Daddario.

Zac and Alexandra smiled and waved to the crowds as they posed in front of a big Baywatch sign for the photo call.
They were later joined by Bondi lifeguards Jesse Polock, Bruce Hopkins, Anthony Glick, Daniel McLaughlin and Jethro James.
Zac, who wore a bomber jacket, T-shirt and ripped jeans, happily shook hands with the lifeguards and posed for selfies with them.

Zac told The Daily Telegraph: ‘I feel like Baywatch has the spirit of Bondi Beach in it, like this is the bay we are protecting in the movie.
‘That is one of the reasons we are so excited to bring it out here. I love coming to Australia.’
