And the actor hit back at the remarks, as he appeared on Tuesday’s Ellen DeGeneres Show.
Vin Diesel, who plays Dominic Toretto in the franchise, leapt from his seat to defend himself as Ellen read him the scathing remarks made by Theron about their embrace in the movie.

‘His character is just frozen like a dead fish’, Ellen quoted Theron.
‘Whaaaat?! Whaaaat! Guys, do I look like a dead fish?’ the actor yelled theatrically to the audience.
‘He’s saying it’s the best kiss ever, it was the most psychotic kiss ever and this whole spiel about how lips don’t lie….I like a little more movement in my men.’

‘You don’t come onto Ellen with the wonderful animation of Finding Dory and compare me to a dead fish,’ Vin added, pretending to be outraged.
Charlize had explained that Vin’s character is not into her character and loves his wife Letty, so wasn’t supposed to react, when she was on the show earlier in April.
‘As he should have, his character is just frozen. Like a dead fish.’

She added that Vin then told people that Charlize had ‘loved’ the kiss, which she called ‘insane.’
‘He’s literally going around saying that I had the best time of my life. They [interviewers] are like, “Do you think she liked it,” and he’s like, “Oh yeah. She loved it, she loved it, let me tell you, it’s insane,” she laughed.
‘I like a little bit more movement in my men’, Charlize revealed.
‘The character is not supposed to’, she added, ‘We are confusing reality with fiction’.

Meanwhile, their movie The Fate Of The Furious powered into first place at the box office for a second weekend.
Studio estimates Sunday say the eighth installment in the fast cars franchise earned $38.7 million, leaving all comers in the dust, according to Variety.
The high-octane film had the biggest global debut of all time last weekend raking in a record-breaking $532.5 million.
Starring franchise regulars Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson plus newbie Charlize Theron, its global haul now stands at $908.4 million.
It’s expected to top $1 billion this week before opening in Japan next weekend, per Box Office Mojo.
