Repulsion (2025) – Teaser Trailer | Florence Pugh Stars in a Terrifying Remake of Polanski’s Classic

July 2025 – “What if your mind became the most dangerous place on Earth?”

A24 and Searchlight Pictures have unveiled the disturbing teaser trailer for Repulsion (2025), a modern reimagining of Roman Polanski’s 1965 psychological horror classic. Directed by Rose Glass (Saint Maud) and starring Florence Pugh, the film dives deep into isolation, trauma, and the horrifying breakdown of reality from within.

🧠 Plot Overview

Set in present-day London, Repulsion follows Caroline Ledoux (Florence Pugh), a quiet, emotionally withdrawn manicurist living with her sister in a decaying apartment. When her sister leaves for a two-week trip, Caroline’s world begins to fracture — haunted by hallucinations, distorted sounds, and the echo of past abuse.

As the walls close in and her grip on reality shatters, Caroline spirals into a violent psychosis, culminating in an unrelenting crescendo of dread, disorientation, and psychological horror.

  • Whispered voiceover: “I didn’t lock the door. I locked myself in.”
