Shadyside County, May 25, 2025 — The road to hell has never looked so elegant. Horror fans are losing their minds as the first trailer for Jeepers Creepers: Requiem Road drops online, marking a chilling and stylish revival of the long-dormant franchise. With Timothée Chalamet and Florence Pugh taking the lead, this 2025 reboot promises a blend of gothic tension, psychological dread, and blood-soaked terror.
🎥 A New Nightmare Begins
Set 23 years after the original trilogy, Requiem Road introduces us to Theo and Evie Wallace, a pair of estranged siblings reunited on a cross-country trip after their father’s mysterious death. As they drive through a forgotten stretch of Louisiana highway, their journey quickly descends into a nightmare of hallucinations, mutilated mile-markers, and crow-filled skies.
The trailer opens with a long aerial shot of an endless rural road, followed by a voiceover from Florence Pugh: “He comes when the road sings… and tonight, it’s howling.”
Flashes of imagery follow:
-
A torn scarecrow blinking in the wind
-
An ancient, rusted truck idling in the dark
-
Chalamet’s character waking up covered in symbols carved into his skin
-
A silhouette with wings spreading wide beneath a lightning-streaked sky
Then, the chilling return of that iconic sound — the Creeper’s scream.
