The long-awaited first trailer for Mortal Kombat 2 (2025) has finally dropped, sending fans into a frenzy with its action-packed sequences, brutal fatalities, and star-studded cast. One of the biggest surprises in the trailer is the addition of Keanu Reeves and Jackie Chan to the cast. Reeves, known for his legendary action roles, steps into the Mortal Kombat universe as Kenshi, the blind swordsman with supernatural abilities. Meanwhile, martial arts icon Jackie Chan makes his franchise debut as Bo’ Rai Cho, the unpredictable and powerful drunken master.

The trailer teases a high-stakes tournament where Earthrealm’s greatest warriors, led by Liu Kang (Ludi Lin) and Johnny Cage (Karl Urban), must battle against the forces of Outworld. With Shang Tsung (Chin Han) returning stronger than ever and Shao Kahn making his terrifying first appearance, the stakes have never been higher.
