Fans weren’t exactly thrilled with how little TV time Korda and her dad, Petr, got during the PNC Championship—and they didn’t hold back. One fan commented, “Love watching the PNC. You played great. Just wish they showed more of your playing and a little less of Tiger/Charlie who they cover even when they’re standing around.”

Another echoed the sentiment, saying, “I sure was disappointed with the TV coverage of Nelly. You’d think that Tiger and his son were the only ones playing in the tournament. It’s just ridiculous.” Yet another fan added, “I wish I would have seen more of you this weekend.”

Well, Golf Channel and NBC were responsible for the TV coverage of the event, and it seems like they failed the fans’ expectations. “No tv coverage tho! 😞,” wrote another disappointed fan. And honestly, you can’t blame them—when the World No. 1 shows up, people expect to see her in action.

That said, the few who did catch Korda and Petr on-screen couldn’t stop talking about it. “Lovely team and a superb family performance. Above all the main “task” of an event like PNC. Reflecting on the experience, Petr couldn’t help but gush about his daughter. “I mean, it’s just the way—how much you improve year by year and the way she is approaching the game, and also how much she is appreciated by the men, these competitors. That was phenomenal.”

Sure, they finished eight strokes behind the leaders, but Korda and her dad clearly left an impression. Let’s hope next year the cameras give them—and the rest of the field—a bit more love.
