Bruins players’ better halves join Charlie McAvoy’s wife Kylie for “cutest ever” Christmas-themed 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑦 shower (via IG/@kyliemcavoy)

Boston Bruins defenseman Charlie McAvoy’s wife Kiley McAvoy hosted a Christmas-themed 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑦 shower on Sunday and was joined by several of the Bruins’ players’ partners, including Elias Lindholm’s wife Annica and Brad Marchand’s wife Katrina Marchand.

The ladies shared glimpses into the event on Instagram through a series of stories, most of which McAvoy reposted on her account. The first story that Charlie McAvoy’s wife Kylie McAvoy shared showed the entrance, decorated with a large green wreath featuring a red bow. A sign below this read, “Welcome to Kiley McAvoy’s Baby Shower.”

She then posted a clip from the gingerbread house-making activity which showed a table filled with candies and icing. All the Boston Bruins’ players’ partners wore matching red-and-white striped pajamas for the event.

The third image featured a group photo of the attendees, all smiling in their striped pajamas. Kylie McAvoy, meanwhile, was dressed in a white pajama set. She expressed her gratitude to her friends for making the occasion special.

“Showered with so much love by the best ladies ❤️ heart is so full @bruinsbetterhalves”, she wrote.

Kylie also shared a clip showing the dining setup, before the party arrived. Tables were decorated with poinsettias, green leaves, and flickering candles all showcasing the Christmas theme. She reposted a snap of the same space from Elias Lindholm’s wife Annica’s story.

Boston Bruins captain Brad Marcahand’s wife Katrina Marchand also participated in the gingerbread house-making activity. While most of the group made typical gingerbread houses, Katrina made a somewhat unique structure with her candies and icing.

“When you don’t belong, but you want to hang”, she humorously wrote in the caption of a clip showing her creation.

Even the ‘Bruins Better Halves’ Instagram account posted a clip of Katrina’s gingerbread house, with this caption followed by the face with peeking eye emoji:

Katrina Marchand also posted a group photo from the evening and congratulated the couple.The final image posted from the ‘Bruins Better Halves’ account was a group photo of all attendees, joyfully posing together and smiling at the camera.
