VIDEO: Social Media Detectives Think They Found The Exact Moment Mike Tyson Accidentally Proved The Fight Against Jake Paul Was Rigged
Jake Paul and Mike Tyson (Photo via Netflix)From just the hype behind it, the Mike Tyson and Jake Paul fight was one of the biggest fights in the last few years. However, there is a lot of speculation surrounding how legit it was.
Many think the fight was rigged the whole time and rather just a cash grab for every sponsor and fighter involved.
There has now been a lot of analysis from social media users to try and help prove this claim.
One may have been found, as a clip of Tyson giving Paul a mean left jab has gone viral, proving that Mike still has some of that insane strength he was known for.
However, there is speculation that Tyson landed a good punch and then realized he couldn’t land another one similar or else Paul would get too hurt.
A post on X of the clip with the caption, “Right here is where Mike said, “Whoops, I gotta stop or I won’t get paid.” #rigged#paultyson,” has gone viral.

Many other social media users seem to agree with the take about Tyson holding back.

My thoughts too. He immediately backed off after this jab. https://t.co/IAaYSA84Hg

Of course, many fans were expecting a bit more violence and that there was no way the fight would go all eight rounds.
If it can be proven that the whole thing was set up, Tyson and Paul should be in some sort of Hall of Fame for pulling it off.
Mike Tyson And Jake Paul Got Paid Millions
The “rigged” allegations only seem to get worse when you see the amount of money each fighter made just by participating.
Tyson has reportedly made about $20 million, which seems like pocket change when you hear that Paul made double that.
Fortune has reported that ticket sales alone brought in $17.8 million for the fight at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Over 70,000 fans were in attendance.
