William Karlsson and Emily Ferguson tied the knot in Las Vegas
Bachelor Nation star Emily Ferguson and William Karlsson originally met in 2017 and got married on July 23, 2022, at Resorts World Las Vegas. The couple exchanged vows on the Rose Rooftop with stunning views of the Las Vegas Strip, surrounded by family, friends, and teammates.
Attendees included Shea and Mariana Theodore, Mark and Hayley Stone, and Oscar Dansk, as well as Emily’s twin sister Haley’s husband, Oula Palve. The ceremony featured an escort to the reception by the Golden Knights’ DrumBots drum line. Guests enjoyed celbratory speeches from maid of honor Haley Ferguson and best man Mans Johansson.
The couple has been living in Las Vegas since 2019 after William signed an eight-year contract with the Golden Knights. Emily shared in an interview with Bachelor Nation how she and William met through social media, calling it a “bizarre story”.
“I don’t know, it’s honestly such a weird story. I think it’s so weird that you can meet someone on social media and send them a DM and now I’m marrying him, I think it’s just a weird, bizarre story,” Emily said.
She also credited William’s Swedish roots for her belief that men from other countries are kinder. In May 2023, they welcomed their first 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥, Beckham William Karlsson.
