She was photographed touching down at the Nice Côte d’Azur International Airport with fellow model Hailey Baldwin on Thursday, ahead of attending the glamorous festivities surrounding the Cannes Film Festival.

And Kendall Jenner was seen making the most of her time in the glitzy French Riviera on Friday, as she soaked up the glorious sunshine while relaxing by the pool with a group of friends, including fellow model Jordan Barrett, at the exclusive Eden Roc hotel.

The 22-year-old reality star-turned-model proudly showed off her enviably svelte physique in a deeply plunging black swimsuit from Gooseberry Seaside, which was also cut high to display even more of her lithe frame.

Her trip to the French Riviera comes shortly after she spoke about the arrival of her sister Kylie’s daughter Stormi in a new interview with ELLE US magazine, admitting it still feels ‘weird’ her younger sibling, 20, is now a mother.

The shadow of Weinstein is looming over this year’s Cannes. For two decades, Weinstein had been an omnipresent figure at the festival, where several of his alleged 𝓈ℯ𝓍 crimes took place.

This year, Cannes has established a hotline for 𝓈ℯ𝓍ual harassment victims at the festival.

Thierry Fremaux, the festival’s director, has said the Weinstein revelations came as a shock to Cannes, forcing the festival to examine its own practices and do more to improve gender equality.

‘What emerged in Cannes must be fought in Cannes’, Marlene Schiappa, France’s secretary of state in charge of gender equality, told French television on Tuesday.

Over the next two weeks, the jury will watch the 21 films competing for the Palme, including new releases from Spike Lee, Pawel Pawlikowski and Jean-Luc Godard. Three of the 21 films are directed by women: Nadine Labaki, Eva Husson and Alice Rohrwacher.
