Joe Schmidt has confirmed a relatively settled squad as the Wallabies prepare for the Bledisloe Cup series against the All Blacks.
Flanker Fraser McReight is the main inclusion in the 36 player squad, set for his first appearance in the Rugby Championship.
The standout flanker missed the Springboks and Argentina Tests with a hand injury.
He is joined by fellow Reds star and centre Hunter Paisami.
Paisami was subbed off in the second Test against the Springboks in Perth after suffering a knee injury.
The powerful midfielder missed the trip to Argentina after starting the first five games of 2024.
Front-rower Isaac Kailea re-joins the squad following his early departure from Argentina due to a head knock.
Fellow prop James Slipper has also been included after tying George Gregan’s all-time Wallabies cap record of 139.
He can be the first Australian to reach 140 caps if he is picked in next week’s Test in Sydney on September 21, the first day-time Bledisloe in NSW since 1995.
The action will then head to Wellington on September 28 as the Australians look to hoist the Bledisloe Cup for the first time since 2002.
“After getting a much-needed win in the first Test, then making a good start in the second Test, we had a very disappointing final 40 minutes in Argentina,” coach Joe Schmidt said.
“The upcoming Bledisloe Test in Sydney offers a great opportunity to turn that poor finish around in front of what looks like being another big home crowd.”
The group will assemble in Sydney on Sunday ahead of the first Bledisloe Cup Test at Accor Stadium.
