Tiger Woods will likely continue playing golf after his PGA TOUR days are done, as he will move to a new tour, he admitted to a fellow pro.
Woods has hit the age 48 and his play has gone downhill due to lingering issues with injuries. Nevertheless, he continues to play Major Championships and even received a special exemption to play in Signature Events next season.
However, those days will eventually come to an end and it seems Woods has made up his mind on what he will do next, according to Padraig Harrington (via Today’s Golfer):
“So he has an intention of playing [on the Champions Tour]. I think his words were, ‘I can’t wait to beat you on the Champions Tour,’ or something like that. He doesn’t want me to have it all my own way, let’s put it like that. I’m looking forward to the challenge.”
Woods’ future move has been in question and many fans have called for him to play the Champions Tour due to his age and his condition.
However, the competitive nature of the 15-time Major Winner has been his biggest downfall as of late. He has not been competitive in a Major since 2019.
