As of my last update in January 2022, there hasn’t been an announcement or confirmation regarding a second season of “X-Men ’97”. The original announcement from Disney+ was for a revival of the beloved 1990s “X-Men” animated series, featuring the return of the original voice cast and continuing the story from where the original series left off.
However, the possibility of a second season can’t be ruled out entirely. If the first season performs well and generates enough interest and demand from fans, it’s conceivable that Disney and Marvel could greenlight additional seasons. Marvel Studios has been expanding its animated offerings on Disney+, so the potential for further seasons of “X-Men ’97” is certainly there.
