This is the fourth installment in the popular action-comedy film series, Bad Boys. The film franchise, nearly three decades old, promises thrilling action sequences along with humorous and engaging adventures.
Following a slap from Chris Rock, which sparked public backlash, the lead role of Will Smith in the fourth installment of Bad Boys was postponed and production was delayed. The Oscar-winning actor later publicly apologized to Chris Rock.
Bad Boys: Ride or Die revolves around the crime-fighting efforts of the daring police duo: Mike (portrayed by Will Smith) and Marcus (portrayed by Martin Lawrence). They face numerous challenges and find themselves in countless hair-raising situations, accompanied by hilarious and heartwarming events.
Directed by Bilall Fallah and Adil El Arbi, who previously found success with the third installment, the film features familiar faces such as Vanessa Hudgens, Alexander Ludwig, Paola Nunez, and more. The movie is scheduled for a global release (including in Vietnam) on June 7, 2024.
