Following the massive success of “Spider-Man: No Way Home” with nearly $2 billion in revenue, Marvel Studios and Sony have been discussing the script for the next installment. Talented young directors have reportedly submitted a “very good” script for the new film, which is said to be the fourth installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) Spider-Man series.
While specifics haven’t been disclosed, speculation suggests that the fourth installment could explore the unlimited potential of the MCU and the multiverse, while also revealing more about the everyday life of the main character, Peter Parker.
Negotiating a contract with actor Tom Holland to continue his involvement in the film is also crucial for its success. Many fans expect to see a fresh, more distinct portrayal of Spider-Man by Holland, as previous films have sometimes felt repetitive and lacked character depth.
Fans hope for a new, innovative script that avoids clichés and brings depth to the character of Peter Parker. The fourth Spider-Man installment is expected to finalize its script this year and begin filming in 2025.
