With the 2023-24 NBA regular season coming to an end very soon, with most teams only having three or four games left on their schedules, the Boston Celtics have become the cream of the crop in the league, as Jayson Tatum and company have dominated the competition on a nightly basis.
The Celtics are the only team in the league this season that will end the regular season eclipsing the 60-win mark, with Boston currently sporting the best record in the NBA at 62-16, which has secured them the top seed in the Eastern Conference.
Along with being arguably the best team in the league, at least in the East, the Celtics have made history ahead of the NBA playoffs.
According to Celtics writer and insider Taylor Snow via NBACentral, Boston has become the first team in league history to have four players on their squad earn Player of the Week honors in the same season, which is impressive, to say the least.
Ahead of the 2023-24 campaign, the Celtics made a couple of big moves to acquire some game-changing talent, which has turned out to work heavily in their favor this season.
The team first brought in veteran scorer Kristaps Porzingis, which was already a big move in the right direction, and then acquired defensive-minded guard Jrue Holiday, resulting in Boston becoming one of the most well-rounded teams in the league.
With Jaylen Brown, Derrick White, Tatum, Porzingis, and Holiday leading the way, the Celtics have their best chances in years to win another NBA title.
