A young fan dipped and dodged with expertise to evade two security guards on his quest to get a selfie with Lionel Messi.
Argentina faced Peru on Tuesday evening in a World Cup qualifier, in which Messi proved the star again after scoring twice in a 2-0 win.

He did so after evading two security guards
They were both left on the floor as the youngster dribbled past them
But the Inter Miami talisman was at risk of being upstaged – by a young fan who ran onto the pitch.
The game was temporarily stopped as the pitch invader made his way to his hero.
Wearing a No10 Argentina shirt with Messi’s name on his back, the youngster showed incredible guile to drift in between two security guards.
He outpaced one guard with ease before dodging another, dropping a shoulder and leaving both of them on the floor.
It led to wild cheers from the crowd at the Estadio Nacional de Lima, though the guards were not happy.
As the fan finally reached Messi, he went to take his phone out to take a selfie.
After a quick pose for the camera, guards finally caught up with the youngster.
Even Messi became somewhat entangled as the two wrestled the youngster away and dragged him off the pitch.

But his impressive dodging did not go unnoticed as the clip went viral on social media, as one X user posted: “Dribbled past the securities with a body feint just like his idol Messi!”
Another said: “He dribbled them like Messi does.
While this reply read: “Lmaoooo the way he dropped the security.”
And a fourth put: “He dribbled without the ball, he is truly a Messi fan.”
Messi put on a show for Argentina on Tuesday night regardless, scoring twice to claim victory.
The seven-time Ballon d’Or winner’s first goal was also a piece of magic, scoring from a brilliant touch after ghosting into the box in the 34th minute.
It has kept up the Albiceleste’s perfect record in World Cup qualifiers for 2026, with the reigning champions winning all four of their matches.
