Miley Cyrus has been flashing a lot of flesh recently. As well as wowing the crowd with one show-stopping piece after another at her highly successful New Year’s Eve show with co-host Pete Davidson, the 29-year-old “Prisoner” hitmaker has also treated fans to a completely see-through black mini dress as well as a very risqué ad campaign for Gucci, which involved her being dressed head-to-toe in the brand’s latest pieces while flashing a lot of leg in the process.
However, we think her latest pH๏τoshoot for Interview magazine might just be the raciest thing the singer has ever worn – or not worn – in quite some time! The “Angels Like You” singer dutifully shared one of the images from the insane pH๏τoshoot with her 160 million Instagram followers, and captioned it: “Let me hear you say, this [expletive] is bananas B-A-N-A-N-A-S,” followed by alternating banana and yellow heart emojis. “@interviewmag LiNk In BiO to read my convo with @larsulrich styled by @melzy917 sH๏τ by @briannalcapozzi,” the caption continued.
The “Heart Of Glᴀss” singer has proven that the pantsless trend isn’t just staying in 2021, as the image sees Miley leaning against a tree with one leg being kicked up to touch the tree, while the other one is extended to touch the other tree (we might start doing yoga if it also makes us as flexible as Miley!) wearing nothing but a yellow top and some fierce bright pink 70s-inspired platform shoes. Pants were definitely not on the agenda for this pH๏τoshoot! And we don’t blame her or the styling team for making this decision; we wouldn’t say no if we had perfect pins like Miley’s! The “Midnight Sky” musician is also surrounded by countless peeled bananas and banana skins on the floor (hence her caption) which actually didn’t sit too well with some fans on social media, who said that it promoted food waste.
“What a disgusting waste of food,” read one comment, which another IG user replied to by adding, “Really is disgusting isn’t it? Smfh.” Another comment partly read: “So we have starving people put here so lets waste food and then take a pic and act as if this is cool. Smfh you should be ashamed.” However, there were hundreds of other positive comments too, including, “I just love it & u too, “Those Beautiful legs,” “Love you Miley,” followed by several red heart emojis, and “Wow that’s so Sєxy you are so beautiful.” We’re holding out hope that those bananas were merely props or due to some expert post-shoot PH๏τoshopping.
