In great shape with his Al Nassr training, Cristiano Ronaldo assures that he is no longer obsessed with individual achievements.
Al-Nassr star Cristiano Ronaldo says numbers and statistics are no longer an obsession for him as he nears the end of his career.
Ronaldo puts the team first
The former Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus striker scored a total of 43 goals during the calendar year. However, the Portuguese says he only cares about his team’s performance.
“I don’t care so much about records,” he said Tuesday evening. “I just think about enjoying the present moment. Our team develops game after game. Our coach and the staff are making great efforts to make Al Nassr the strongest team.”
Even if the total number of goals is not its primary objective, CR7 would of course not spit on other historic brands. “The key to continuing to break records is to have fun. It’s a beautiful thing in football and it’s the secret of my continuity.”
“I’m happy to have scored and to have played well, but Cristiano is different from the others. I work well and, ultimately, what I achieve, I do with the help of my colleagues and the sports staff. The most important thing is that I’m having fun at the moment and helping Al Nassr and the Portuguese team.”concluded the five-time Ballon d’Or winner.
