American media personality Jason Lee recently claimed Rah Ali had jumped to Nicki Minaj’s support and “punched” Cardi B during their 2018 Harper’s Bazaar New York Fashion Week party altercation.

The feud between Cardi B and Nicki Minaj became globally known after the duo’s New York Fashion Week altercation in 2018. Since then various claims about what happened between the two that night have surfaced. Both women have given their accounts of what happened that night and fans too, have picked sides. Now media personality Jason Lee is opening Pandora’s Box once again with his claims that former reality star Rah Ali “punched” Cardi B that night.

The Hollywood Unlocked founder recently discussed the incident on with DJ Akademiks on the Off The Record podcast. At one point, Jason brought up the 2018 incident between Nicki and Cardi.

He then claimed former Love and Hip Hop star Rashidah Ali, also known as Rah Ali, “punched” the Bodak Yellow rapper at the party. The media personality claims Rah jumped in when Cardi was trying to “go in” on Nicki. He further claims she’s the one who gave Cardi a “knot.”

Hot New Hip Hop further alleges Rah Ali attacked Cardi to gain Nicki’s favor. The Barbie World singer too claimed the same thing after the incident. In an episode of Queen Radio, she said, “Rah held her head and punched her like eight, nine times, and I could hear it.” However, Cardi has denied all of these reports saying she was never hit.

HITC and GRV Media have reached out to both Rah Ali and Cardi B for comment on Jason Lee’s claims.

Cardi took to her Instagram back in 2018 to deny the claims that she got punched at the Harper’s Bazaar party.

She called out Nicki on her Instagram pointing out how so many clips of that party made it to social media but not a single clip saw her getting punched.

“This my thing Nicki Minaj,” she says. “How are you saying I got ‘ragged’ by Rah Ali when there is so much footage of that night every single angle and where am I getting ragged?”

Nicki on the other hand wanted to put the whole drama aside and move on after the incident.
