North West, fashion campaign veteran, stopped by her mother Kim Kardashian’s photo shoot the other day and agreed to grace Kim and the cameras with her 5-year-old presence. Kim shared the series of photos the two took together on her Twitter and Instagram this morning, explaining how the impromptu mother-daughter photo shoot came to be.

“Me & my bff!” Kardashian wrote. “North came to visit me on set & said momma can we do a photo shoot together just me & you! I followed her poses & direction so here it is! I always dreamed of having a 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑦 girl & she’s perfect!” That’s right: North was directing Kim. A real 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 prodigy in action.

In addition to the Kardashian family Christmas cards, North’s editorial work includes her Interview and Harper’s Bazaar covers, along with her Fendi campaign. Her siblings Saint and Chicago have some modeling experience too: Saint shared that Harper’s Bazaar cover with North and their dad Kanye West while Chicago appeared with Kim Kardashian in her KKW Beauty Flashing Lights collection ad campaign.
