But Margot Robbie forwent the standard costume change, instead opting to wear her stunning white strapless dress as she was seen heading into the event’s after party at The Standard High Line.
The only change the 25-year-old made to her look was tying her long blonde tresses back into a low bun and hitching up her dress to avoid it dragging along the New York sidewalk.

The Calvin Klein dress boasted cut out panels across her torso and back as she put on subtle leggy display with a split up the star’s right side.
While it’s the fashion event of the year that allows guests to make a serious statement with their style, the actress opted against an oversized train or extensive embellishment, with her stunning, yet simple attire.
Margot added a pair of gold cuffs around her wrists, a pair of diamond studded earrings and carried a small black clutch bag.
The theme for the event was taken from the Metropolitan Museum of Arts exhibition Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology and many guests donned futuristic-inspired ensembles.

While her dress was minimal in style so too was her approach to her make-up – sporting a copper eyeshadow, sun kissed skin and a bronze lipstick.
While the actress made her entrance solo, she was seen greeting fellow stars Emma Watson and Lupita Nyong’o and the trio posed for some snaps together.
The actress has recently been promoting her upcoming flick Suicide Squad, in which she plays fictional supervillain Harley Quinn.
