Share your fantasies about celebrating the lovely trio
Amanda and Chad Doss, parents of naturally occurring identical triplets Avery, Bentley, and Cassidy, have embarked on an incredible journey filled with joy and challenges. Their lives have been transformed since the arrival of their trio, leading them to discover practical strategies and heartwarming moments that make raising three identical babies an adventure like no other.
One tool that has proven indispensable in telling the babies apart is a pink Sharpie marker. While subtle differences like a vein on Bentley’s eyelid or a fading vein on Cassidy’s nose provide initial cues, the Dosses take a creative approach after bath time. They diligently write the names of their babies on the soles of their feet with a Sharpie, ensuring they can distinguish them even as facial features evolve.
The Doss family, residing in Franklin, Indiana, has seamlessly integrated their triplets into their lives, which already include Chad’s two older 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren from a previous marriage. Unexpectedly blessed with the arrival of the triplets – 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧 two months premature on December 30 – Amanda and Chad have embraced the whirlwind of parenting with open arms.
Their home, once shared by Amanda, Chad, Caleb (12), and Kaitlyn (9), now accommodates three adorable cots in the master bedroom. The couple navigates the challenges of parenting and household chores with a rhythm, supported by the involvement of their extended family. While they admit to exhaustion and the inherent chaos, the Dosses express sheer joy at the sight of their babies, who radiate an apparent calmness amid the hustle and bustle.
Amanda’s initial concerns of complete anarchy have been replaced with a delightful sense of accomplishment as she realizes that caring for the triplets is more manageable than anticipated. She attests that while it’s not always easy, the routine they’ve established and the unwavering love they share have made this experience both fulfilling and rewarding.
Chad, Amanda’s partner in this incredible journey, highlights the power of teamwork in their parenting approach. Their seamless coordination, with one stepping in when the other needs respite, exemplifies their commitment to supporting each other. As they navigate this journey, their shared love for their 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren remains their driving force.
The older siblings, Caleb and Kaitlyn, have embraced their roles as loving older brothers and sisters. Their willingness to assist and adore the triplets showcases the bonds that tie this family together.
Amid the whirlwind of parenting, the Doss family has uncovered a reservoir of resilience and love that fuels their journey. With each Sharpie-marked foot and synchronized effort, they show the world that while challenges exist, the rewards of raising identical triplets are immeasurable.
