Manchester City striker Julián Álvarez registered a brace in the Premier League club’s 3-1 win over FK Crvena Zvezda. After the English side gave up the first goal to the Serbian club, the Argentine came to the rescue.
Álvarez scored back-to-back goals to give Manchester City the 2-1 lead, with Rodri adding the third goal. The 23-year-old recorded an overall 10 rating from the statistical outlet Sofascore.
On Wednesday, the outlet noted that Álvarez is now tied with former Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar Jr., registering a 10 rating on seven occasions.
Furthermore, Kylian Mbappé (9) and Lionel Messi (16) are the two players ahead of the Manchester City striker. Mbappé will need to pick up a couple of 10 ratings to create distance between him and Álvarez.
