Lionel Messi may well have won the game, but Harper and Victoria Beckham served as lucky charms during Inter Miami’s latest victory on Wednesday night.
The pair were on hand to support husband, father, and club co-owner David Beckham as he watched his team demolish local rivals Orlando City 3-1 in the Leagues Cup.
There was even a fatherly kiss for Harper, 12, as David celebrated the win – owed in no small part to the magic of Argentinian talisman Messi.
The World Cup winner scored an impressive brace on the night, with a resurgent Inter Miami once again displaying their newfound dominance.
Taking in the spectacle at DRV PNK Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, former Spice Girl Victoria, 49, looked typically stylish in a smart sleeveless top and single pleated white slacks.

In keeping with Inter Miami’s home colours, David, 48, wore a pink dress shirt beneath his standard club suit as he took in the action.
Jordi Alba officially donned the pink, white and black kit for the first time ever as the former Barcelona left-back came on in the second-half of the Herons’ Leagues Cup win against Orlando City in the Round of 32.
The 34-year-old, who was presented to fans at DRV PNK Stadium prior to kick-off, came on for 19-year-old defender Noah Allen in the 64th minute with Inter Miami leading 2-1.
His first pass of the game was to no one else but teammate Lionel Messi, of course, as he also shared the field with Sergio Busquets – another familiar face who moved to Florida from Barcelona this summer.
Miami then added a third goal in the 72nd minute to create a two-goal deficit – eight minutes after Alba graced the pitch.
Alba and Messi played together at Barcelona for nine years prior to the 2022 World Cup winner’s exit from Camp Nou to PSG’s Parc des Princes on a free transfer, two years ago.
‘Jordi is an accomplished, dynamic and experienced player that we’re excited to acquire to continue bolstering our squad,’ club sporting director Chris Henderson said in a release after Miami announced the player’s arrival last month.
‘He has proven for over a decade that he is one of the best fullbacks in the sport due to both his defensive solidity and capacity to contribute in the attack.’

Triumph: Lionel Messi converted a volley in the seventh minute to give Miami a quick 1-0 lead vs. Orlando in their eventual 3-1 win, during which the Argentinian star would score a brace
Earlier in the evening Beckham was left in stitches thanks to the antics of Lionel Messi‘s sons during a rain delay.
The MLS club’s Leagues Club clash against Orlando City was delayed by an hour-and-a-half by thunder and lightning in the area.
As the rain poured down most spectators took shelter in the stadium but it appears after the downpour eased up, Messi’s sons headed back out into the stands in preparation to watch their dad tear it up on the field once again.
After the torrential rain, DRV PNK Stadium was decidedly soggy and the 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren appeared to entertain themselves by throwing soaked items on to the field.
Messi’s oldest two sons Matteo and Thiago were spotted pitchside in Inter Miami jerseys with their dad’s No. 10 on the back.
They were joined by one of Sergio Busquet’s sons, who donned a jersey with No. 5 and ‘Papi’ for the former Barcelona star.

Beckham watched on laughing at their antics before going in for a high-five with one of the little troublemakers.
But the former Manchester United star had to jokingly leap back in shock as they waved a rain-soaked flag in his face.
The little prank sprayed the England soccer legend in the face, while his daughter Harper, turned away to dodge the blast.
Beckham didn’t seem to mind as he continued beaming at the mischief.
He has been in attendance at DRV PNK Stadium for Messi’s first three games for Inter Miami.
He watched on from the stands for Messi’s first two games with wife Victoria, and they were joined Wednesday night by their daughter and youngest 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 Harper.
The Beckham family weren’t the only ones watching on as Messi’s wife, Antonela Roccuzzo, was later spotted on the television broadcast.
The Argentine beauty was seen beaming as she stood behind one of her sons, celebrating her husband’s opening goal after just seven minutes of play.
Beckham and Messi appear to have a close relationship with the former England soccer star recently claiming that bringing Messi to Inter Miami was one of the best moments of his life.
