These old friend sure know how to throw a family getaway.

Salma Hayek and Pierce Brosnan brought their families together to have some fun in the sun in Hawaii last week.

While the pair have played onscreen loves a few times, off-screen they are just really good friends so they were joined by their partners François-Henri Pinault and Keely Shaye Smith.

Also lapping up the sunshine was Pierce’s 14-year-old son Paris and Salma’s seven-year-old daughter Valentina Paloma.

Despite the fact that they are all multimillionaires, the group appeared to be having a very low key vacation.

While most celebrities stay in exclusive secluded villas or spend their days in catered cabanas, the two families came together like your average family would.

Hitting the beach early, the group threw their towels down on the sand and demarcated out their only little sandy spot before all heading into the water.

The six-some amused themselves by splish splashing around in the shallows with little Valentina showing off her impressive swimming s𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁s, paddling back and forth between her parents.

At one stage the actress and her French businessman husband attempted to have a little time on their own, sharing a big hug.

But their little water 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑦 would have none of it, swimming over to them so she could get a hug too.

Pierce meanwhile, also shared some swimming time with his wife, holding on to her as she kicked back and relaxed in the water.

The 62-year-old actor did not have too much time to kick back with his son launching a sneak attack.

Playful rough housing in the water, the former Bond actor was able to wrestle the teen off his back and playfully dunked him under water.

Flexing as he tumbled around in the water, a shirtless Pierce showed he still has that Bond body however, it is probably safe to say James Bond would not be caught dead or alive wearing a straw cowboy hat.

The Frida actress also tried to be sun safe, wearing a large floppy blue hat in the water.

For her day at the beach, the 48-year-old looked amazing in a simple two piece.

 

The star showed off her famed too heavy physique in a black bikini featuring a triangle top and tie-side pants.

Salma, whose long brown hair cascaded down in curls, added a pair of big square sunglasses to her look.

Later, the actress threw on a colourful kaftan to head back up the beach.

The paisley print cover-up was blue and purple with pink trimming and tassels.

Pierce’s wife also dressed simply with the former journalist wearing a retro-inspired one piece that had a skirt incorporated into it.

After enjoying their day sea side, the group headed back in the early afternoon.

But their trip back was not just some slow stroll to their resort.

Instead, the two families headed back on ATV’s and took the off road vehicles for a bit of a spin on their return.

Salma was at the wheel of hers and seemed to be having fun taking on all the twists and turns.
