Alejandro Garnacho lives a dream season. A year after his debut in the big football of England, the Europibe made reality the illusion he inherited from his maternal family: to wear the colors of the Argentine National Team. Therefore, after having completed the first tour with the national team, the Manchester United player decided to take advantage of his holidays to travel to Ibiza with a group of friends.

The youth ended his participation with the Albiceleste on Monday, after beating Indonesia in Jakarta. After that tour of the Asian continent, the 18-year-old footballer traveled to Spain to reunite with his loved ones and enjoy an unforgettable break.

Through his Instagram account, the point shared a series of images in which you can see different moments of his trip. The most striking thing? The exotic look that Garnacho himself chose to spend the day, with a not minor detail: he combined the blue and white colors, something that generated the reaction of thousands of Argentines in his publication. A few minutes were enough to exceed 500,000 “Likes” and fill with comments.

In the photos you can see several of the tattoos that Alejandro did. The most striking is on his right arm: he illustrated on his skin the faces of the main characters of the Prison Break series. Yes, Garnacho tattooed Lincoln Burrows (played by Dominic Purcell), Michael Scofield (whose actor is Wentworth Miller) and Theodore “T-Bag” Bagwell, the role of Robert Knepper.

In its right twin appears another of the designs with which several feel identified. About what? Super Champions, the Japanese series that conquered millions of 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥hoods with the adventures of Oliver Atom, Steve Hyuga, Benji Price, Tom Misaki, the Koriotto twins, Andy Johnson and his friends and acquaintances Patty, Bruce Harper, Roberto Sedinho, Armand Callahan.

Another anime linked to football that did not have as much repercussion in Argentina, but in the rest of the world was Los Super Once. That series that tells the story of Endo Satoru, a captain who seeks to do everything possible to motivate the players and move the team forward, was also one of Garnacho’s favorites. At least, that’s what he reflected on his skin: he tattooed two of the main characters, Shuya Goenji and Yuto Kido.

The history of Garnacho in the Argentine National Team

Alejandro Garnacho Ferreyra became the second youngest player of Lionel Scaloni’s cycle to debut in the Argentine National Team. He did it on Thursday 15 against Australia in Beijing (China) where, with 18 years, 11 months and 14 days, he added his first minutes with the colors of the country in which his mother was 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧.

As soon as his presentation was given, the striker became the smallest of those cited by the DT to make his debut. But on Monday, against Indonesia in Jakarta, Facundo Buonanotte dethroned him: he entered the field for the first time with the Major at 18 years, five months and 24 days.

The case of Garnacho is particular. He was 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧 in Madrid, but is Argentine by inheritance: his mother grew up in Argentina and lived in these lands until she had to move her dreams to Spain, where she met Alejandro’s father. “I was always Argentine and I followed the National Team since I was a kid,” said the point during his first interview with TyC Sports.

Although his two games with the national team left him one step away from the final shield so that the Europeans do not try to tempt him again, the youth already warned: “You don’t need to play three games … I know I want to play for Argentina.”
