The Young and the Restless Thursday, September 11 Recap: Sally’s Breakup Ultimatum for Billy

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) recap for Thursday, September 11, reveals that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will deliver a breakup ultimatum to Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) before Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) takes back every dime he’s invested.

At Society, Billy will want to stick around and pry more details out of Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn), but Sally will insist they’re leaving.

Once Billy trots after Sally on Thursday’s Y&R episode, they’ll get into an argument back at the apartment.

Billy will suggest Cane’s AI plan could get them everything they want, but Sally will think he’s focused on defeating Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).

Sally won’t want to be Cane’s scapegoat and land in prison, but Billy will feel like they can pull this off.

After Jack gets a vague text from Billy about the canceled launch, he’ll march over to Billy’s place to get an answer in person.

Billy will remain cagey, but Sally will insist Cane is to blame for the launch delay and ruined party.

Sally will also hint about Cane offering up an alternative that’s outrageous and absolutely unacceptable.

Jack will want the full story, but Billy will push for time to figure out his next move.

Sally will warn Billy that he’s got until tomorrow morning and then she’s done with all of it.

Once Sally storms out, Jack will realize she just implied she’s leave Billy over this and will wonder if blackmail is involved.

Billy will get offended over Jack thinking he’s done something before they clash over Jack supplying the funding.

Billy will finally urge Jack to just pull the funding since of all the threats.

After Bill insists that he wants Jack to do it, Jack will indeed announce that he’s taking back every dime.

Furthermore, Jack will ᵴtriƥ Abbott Communications of its name.

Billy will protest since it’s his name too, but Jack won’t want their father’s name on a company that Billy clearly has no interest in.

Jack will suggest that Cane can give Billy the money and they can call it Ashby Communications instead.

Regardless, Jack will declare that Billy’s on his own and angrily wish him luck.

After Jack updates on Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) at the Abbott mansion, he’ll make it clear that they have to force Cane out and end his influence in Genoa City.

Back with Billy, he’ll pour himself a drink and contend that Victor has underestimated him for the last time since “Billy Boy” is coming for him.

At Society, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will complain about Cane trusting the wrong people.

Billy is a screwup and Sally will never go for this proposal, so Phyllis won’t approve of Cane recruiting them.

Cane will have more faith in Billy, but Sally will show back up in protective mode and make it clear that Billy won’t be involved.

Sally will plan to make sure of that, but Phyllis will warn that Billy’s going to do whatever he wants regardless.

Phyllis will basically suggest that Sally will have to get on board or walk away since that’s just how things go with Billy.

At Crimson Lights, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will give Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) news on the AI software that Cane developed and how Victor is blackmailing him for control of it.

There’ll also be some talk about a project developer approaching Noah about opening another branch of his club in Los Angeles, so Noah has a meeting coming up with him in LA next month.

Nick and Sharon will agree to take a trip to see Noah while he’s there.

After Nick mentions grabbing dinner at Society, Sharon will invite herself to tag along.

While Sharon is wrapping things up in the back, Sally will approach Nick and unload some of her Cane frustration since he canceled the launch.

Sharon will interrupt Sally and Nick’s discussion, so Sally will try to excuse herself since they clearly have plans.

Nick will assure Sally that Cane is everyone’s issue since they’ll all have to work together for a takedown.

Once Sharon and Nick arrive at Society, they’ll spot Phyllis and Cane sitting at the bar.

Nick will fume over Phyllis not being able to help herself when it comes to Cane.

As for Cane, he’ll push Phyllis to think bigger than Chancellor and suggest her endgame could be beyond her wildest dreams.

Cane will declare that they’re going to own this town and won’t think anyone can stop them.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Phyllis will remain tangled up in Cane’s mess, so stay tuned!
