Monday, September 1, 2025: Today on Young and Restless, Nate tells Victoria that he is done with Audra, Diane is determined to hit Victor hard, and Amanda tells Audra she used to be close to Nate.

Nate walks into Crimson Lights, he spots Audra abut avoids her. She walks over to asks how he is. Amy says he’s not sleeping.

He’s not comfortable with them talking about him. Audra says she’s cares. That’s news to him.

She asks if there’s any way they can fix this.

As he fixes his drink, she reminds him of how good they were together. She knows she’s the one who broke them but she’s not good at relationships.

Being with him made her want to make a commitment for once. She thought they were building something and now she wants to make amends.

Nate asks for the truth.

Taking a deep breath, she admits she agreed to Victor’s deal and went after Kyle to get what she wants.

She tells him she never would have had 𝓈ℯ𝓍 with Kyle. Even the kiss was unplanned.

Nate wonders if she has feelings for the ex she supposedly despises. She claims she was just upset because of Damian.

Nate points out she made the decision to seduce him weeks prior to that. Audra reminds him she was desperate for work and Victor offered her what she wanted.

She wasn’t happy about the conditions and thought about it before agreeing. Nate doesn’t think she thought about it enough.

He can’t get past her willingness to break Claire’s heart.

Audra says she’s not the horrible person he’s suggesting. If Kyle was willing to go as far as she thinks he was, Claire would be better off without him.

She’s not proud of what she did. It was all stupid but she thought it would work. She’s learned her lesson and will be nothing but honest with him.

There’s no way she would have ever betrayed him.

Moving away from her, Nate says she lied to him for weeks because business meant more to her than their relationship did.

If she can’t see that she betrayed him. There’s something seriously wrong with her.

He walks out, leaving her panting. Amanda shows up.

They have some small talk. The lawyer saw how upset Nate was. Audra points out his brother just died.

The lawyer apologizes for overstepping and explains she and Nate were close once. In Nice, it looked like Audra was close to Kyle.

This puts Audra’s nose out of joint and she abruptly walks out.

Victoria runs into Nate in the park. They talk about how much they miss Damian and Cole.

Victoria is glad he has Amy and Audra in his life. She senses more is wrong.

Nate admits things aren’t working out with Audra. Victoria is sorry he’s hurting. He saw something in her no one else did.

He explains that it took him weeks to get Audra to come clean with him. What she did was pretty despicable.

Victoria is mad at her father too. This brings back how he’s always meddled in her relationships. But she’s been impressed that he’s backed down about Kyle and Claire.

They hope that’s real.

Victoria asks if he and Audra can get past this. He knows what it’s like to lean into the dark side for ambition but his conscience stopped him. His eyes are open about her and it’s over.

He thanks her for letting him open up and she reminds him they are friends. He smiles.

Kyle paces the Abbott house and tells himself it’s all perfect. He puts on some corny music and looks at the ring he bought.

As he gets the champagne out, he flashes back to memories of Claire and how Audra has come between them.

He only hopes that he and Claire can get their trust back and have a fresh start.

When she arrives, he says she looks beautiful. She’s impressed that he set up flowers and music without any help from Mrs Martinez.

Pouring them drinks, he promises to do all he can to make up for what he did. He toasts to what a pure woman she is.

She’s impressed he has the house to himself.

He will always regret not being honest with her about Audra. It was stupid and he made things worse.

Kyle wanted to expose Audra so they could free themselves of her. He told himself that doing it would be worth it for their sake.

He says he would have come clean no matter what but he was waiting for courage.

When he mentions he told his parents, she suggests that’s the only reason he came clean, not because of his conscience.

Kyle claims he hasn’t been able to sleep in weeks. He tells her how much faith he has in her and what an idiot he’s been.

Is it possible that she could trust him again? She says if it is, they will have to find out slowly.

They sit at the dinner table and he admits that Mrs Martinex made the spagbol. She loves it.

Adam has called both of them and Kyle asks if she’s still interested in living with him. She’d like it, but she’s not sure it’s possible.

Kyle is sorry for hurting her and knows she has every reason to distrust him…but he’s in awe of her and doesn’t want her to doubt his love.

She has softened him. He may be her first love, but she is his true love and he wants to spend the rest of his life proving that.

He’d like them to remember this fifty years from now. She says that’s a long time.

Crossing over to her, he drops on his knee and pops open the ring box. She shudders.

“What are you doing?” she asks.

He knows he is blow past the going slow part, but he says the only person he can imagine loving more than Claire Newman is Claire Abbott. “Will you marry me?” he asks.

Jack and Diane meet at Society and he can’t shake his worries that Claire will reject their son’s proposal.

She understands his concerns but hopes that Claire will be swept up in the romance. She’s betting on love.

Jack blames all of this on Victor and his machinations.

They talk about the deal that Kyle made with that man and how determined the Mustache still is to bully him. He admits that he and Billy have been plotting to get justice against Victor.

His wife is almost afraid to ask. Jack explains it starts with going after Chancellor.

Diane reminds him he was letting his brother go after the Abbott Communications mess. Jack thinks his brother has shown loyalty to the family. Besides, he can’t pass on the chance for revenge.

Diane is all for hitting Victor where it hurts. Her husband admits he’s conflicted about hurting Nikki.

His wife doesn’t care. She points out that any attack they make on Victor will hurt Nikki. She says Victor will never pay if he puts Nikki’s feelings above that.

Diane wants Victor stopped and she’ll be damned if she ever lets him hurt their son again. She reminds him that Billy is a wild card.

Only Jack has the means to take Victor down for good. will he?
