General Hospital Spoilers August 25: Maxie’s Loved Ones Get Difficult News. Did Maxie slip into a coma?
In addition to Maxie’s loved ones receiving difficult news, General Hospital spoilers for Monday, August 25, 2025, will also focus on Jason making a request, Ric getting a shock, and Alexis losing her cool.
Next on General Hospital
Nobody in Maxie’s circle of friends and family knows how in the world Maxie (Kirsten Storms) ended up in the hospital. She had a heart attack, but her heart is fine, so that means something else terrible happened. So far, the Deception executive hasn’t woken up. And many are wondering what that means.
On Monday, look for Maxie’s loved ones to get difficult news. This might mean that Maxie has slipped into a coma. There is another alternative, but that’s just way too dire to even think about. With a coma, there’s hope that Maxie will wake up.
Meanwhile, if Maxie is comatose, then there are decisions to make. Will Maxie end up getting transferred to a long-term care facility?
Shock and Screams
At the end of Friday, Ric (Rick Hearst) showed up at Alexis’s place, and who did he run into but Kristina (Kate Mansi). She’s feeling especially raw since Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) put her on the spot, urging her to be compassionate with Willow’s (Katelyn MacMullen) plight. If anybody knew about making terrible choices, it was her, right? It had her thinking about all of her past transgressions.
From the looks of the video teaser for next week’s episodes, Ric and Kristina get into it about her causing his accident. When Ric gets a shock, does Kristina say something that leaves him stunned? Meanwhile, there are a ton of different ways that could cause Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) to lose her cool. But Ric’s fight with Kristina could be what triggers Alexis on Monday.
However, according to next week’s preview, Alexis says, “You lured me here to serve me with a restraining order?” So, it might be Drew (Cameron Mathison) who actually causes Alexis to rage, especially if the congressman is keeping her from visiting Scout (Cosette Abinante).
Requests and Updates
Speaking of Drew, when Martin (Michael E. Knight) briefs Laura (Genie Francis), he will undoubtedly come clean regarding his sudden falling out with the client who paid him well. But Martin didn’t appreciate being used in Drew’s revenge plot against Curtis (Donnell Turner). Stella (Vernee Watson) should have been off limits. Will Laura simply be someone he vents to, or will she help him figure out his Drew problem?
Finally, Jason (Steve Burton) makes a request, presumably of Britt (Kelly Thiebaud). The two were face-to-face at the end of Friday’s episode. So what does he want her to do? In the preview, he does offer to take her anywhere she wants.
