After being away from General Hospital for years, Kimberly McCullough received a sweet reminder about her role as Robin.
Kimberly McCullough was fondly reminded of her past at General Hospital. As Robin, she was a crucial part of some of the most beloved eras of the ABC soap. With a career that spanned nearly 40 years on GH, McCullough was on and off the soap beginning in 1985 and left for good in 2021 after a one-off appearance when Sean Donnelly’s (John Reilly) death was marked.
McCullough Remembers Fun Memories
After an encounter with a GH fan, Kimberly McCullough shared a throwback photo of herself alongside former co-star Steve Burton. Robin and Jason were once hot commodities among viewers, especially the young adult demographic who watched the ABC soap.
McCullough captioned her share, saying, “It’s funny, so many years later, how I can look at a photo of us when we were babies, and my nostalgic heart is instantly filled with fun memories.”
Robin’s GH Legacy Continues Without Her On-Screen
While McCullough may not have plans to return to GH, her legacy continues in Port Charles. She often comes up in conversation, especially when Emma (Braedyn Bruner) is around.
Robin and Patrick’s (Jason Thompson) daughter has made her way to Port Charles, and she’s all grown up. Emma lives with Anna (Finola Hughes), who has mentioned Robin on occasion, too.
Her storylines over the years have captivated many. McCullogh was part of one of the biggest storylines on GH, the death of Stone Cates (Michael Sutton) due to AIDS. It was a one-of-a-kind story, and she jumped all in.
The Nurses Ball has been a massive part of GH, which Robin held near and dear to her heart. She contracted HIV from Stone, but her storyline over the years has focused on her keeping it in check.
Reading McCullough getting nostalgic about moments from the past, especially the Robin and Jason pairing, was a treat for long-time viewers.
