Joaquin Niemann has doubled down on his stance that he will one day crack the code on the major championship stage, after winning yet another LIV Golf title.

Niemann secured his fifth victory of the 2025 season on Sunday, fending off a valiant effort from Bubba Watson to clinch the LIV Golf UK crown at JCB Golf and Country Club. His recent domination on the LIV circuit this campaign has seen him win over $58 million in prize money since leaving the PGA Tour.

For all of his LIV glory, though, the Chilean has failed to make his mark on the major stage, with his latest setback coming a week earlier when missing the cut at The Open Championship.

Despite his struggles, Niemann remains confident that his major form will soon change.

“It frustrated me a lot to not be playing good at the majors, you know, but I know I’m going to make it happen,” he told reporters following his victory at JCB last weekend.

“I know I’m going to figure it out. Yeah, I mean, obviously this is a game that’s really frustrating, and I think we all know that.

“Sometimes we take it personally, like the game is doing something against us.

“But I’m always going to — in the position I am I feel like I’m always going to learn something from every mistake and every bad result. Yeah, I’m patient so I know the results are going to come. I’m just going to wait for them.”

This is not the first time Niemann has fielded questions on his major form.

LIV’s No. 1 player was quizzed on his flagship performances prior to the Masters, admitting he knows he has what it takes to one day become a major champion.

“I know that I’ve been playing great out here, and if I look back into my stats, I haven’t had a great result in majors,” he said in Singapore in March.

“It’s something that kind of bothers me all the time. But I feel like if I see the bigger picture and — I saw an interview the other day from Greg Norman back in the day when he was World No. 1 and I hadn’t won a major yet, and I liked his answer because it’s completely true.

“If you ask me, I’m pretty sure and I’m pretty calm about it because I know it’s going to come. I know I’m going to win a major. I know it’s going to happen. Maybe not at the Masters this next three weeks, maybe yes.

“I have no idea. I just know it’s going to happen.”
