Paramount Pictures has unveiled a chilling new teaser concept for Scream 7 (2025), marking the next blood-soaked chapter in the iconic slasher saga. With the tagline “No one escapes the legacy,” the trailer promises a return to the franchise’s terrifying roots — with a fresh, modern twist.

Set several years after the events of Scream VI, the story follows the survivors of the previous massacres who are now scattered across the country. But just when they thought the nightmare was over, a new Ghostface emerges, targeting not only them — but anyone who dares to dig into the past.

Jenna Ortega is rumored to reprise her role as Tara Carpenter, joined by Melissa Barrera, Mason Gooding, and a potential surprise return from legacy characters, although the trailer keeps their identities shrouded in mystery.

Directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, the teaser is packed with classic Scream tension: eerie phone calls, brutal 𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁s, and that haunting voice asking, “What’s your favorite scary movie now?”
