The world’s most famous spy has a new face — and a new mission.
MGM Studios and Eon Productions have officially released the first trailer for “Bond 26”, the next chapter in the long-running James Bond franchise, with Henry Cavill stepping into the iconic role of 007. The trailer teases a thrilling new era for the secret agent, combining high-octane action, cutting-edge espionage, and a complex emotional core.
Directed by Christopher Nolan, Bond 26 marks a bold reinvention of the series. Set in the aftermath of global cyber warfare, the film follows Bond as he emerges from retirement to investigate a mysterious data leak threatening MI6 from within. But he’s not alone.
Natalie Portman stars as Dr. Emilia Hart, a brilliant intelligence analyst with her own agenda. The trailer hints at a tense alliance between Bond and Hart, blending chemistry with suspicion as they navigate shadowy double agents, drone warfare, and an AI-driven criminal empire.
Cavill’s Bond is charismatic yet haunted, with the trailer showcasing brutal hand-to-hand combat sequences, daring escapes through neon-lit cities, and breathtaking landscapes from Iceland to Istanbul. Fans also get a glimpse of a new villain played by Cillian Murphy, whose character delivers the ominous line: “You can’t 𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁 what’s already erased.”
Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson return as producers, promising a Bond that is “smarter, sharper, and more emotionally dangerous than ever.”
Bond 26 is set for a global theatrical release on November 13, 2026.
