Los Angeles, May 19, 2025 — Paramount Pictures has just unveiled the official trailer for SMILE 3: Sirens of the Stage (2025), the latest chilling installment in the psychological horror saga that has haunted audiences since 2022. With a haunting blend of beauty, performance, and madness, the third chapter stars Florence Pugh and Anya Taylor-Joy in a sinister tale set deep within the velvet curtains of a cursed theater.

Set in London’s historic but long-abandoned Monarch Theatre, SMILE 3 follows Pugh as Elara Vale, a rising actress cast in a revival of a mysterious opera that was shut down after a string of disappearances in 1974. Anya Taylor-Joy plays Lilith March, an enigmatic vocal coach whose methods blur the line between art and obsession.
The trailer opens with a whispered aria echoing through empty seats, as Elara rehearses alone on a grand, dust-covered stage. But something else is watching — something smiling in the shadows.
“The stage is sacred,” Lilith says in a cold, ethereal voice. “And every curse has its audience.”
Viewers are treated to flashes of terrifying imagery: mirrors cracking on their own, a masked figure smiling from the rafters, and performers screaming in silence as an unseen force twists their limbs into frozen tableaux. The ever-present grin — the signature of the franchise — takes a new form: a porcelain mask that slowly fuses to the wearer’s face.
Directed once again by Parker Finn, the mastermind behind the first two films, Sirens of the Stage promises a more operatic and stylistic descent into madness, laced with supernatural elegance. With a score blending chilling orchestral crescendos and whispered lullabies, the film leans into psychological terror while exploring the themes of performance, identity, and legacy.
Florence Pugh, speaking in an interview, described the film as “Black Swan meets Hereditary with a sinister smile.” Taylor-Joy added, “It’s a horror film about the masks we wear, and what happens when they become permanent.”
SMILE 3: Sirens of the Stage hits theaters worldwide on October 24, 2025, just in time for Halloween, and is already being called the most beautiful nightmare of the year.
