The long-awaited crossover between two of cinema’s most terrifying dolls, Chucky from the Child’s Play franchise and Annabelle from The Conjuring universe, promises a brutal clash that will redefine the horror genre. Directed by horror maestro James Wan and produced by Blumhouse and Universal Pictures, the film is set to hit theaters worldwide on October 17, 2025, just in time for Halloween.
The trailer opens with a dark and eerie atmosphere: a young couple moves into a Victorian mansion in New Orleans, unaware that the house harbors two cursed objects — the Annabelle doll and a mysterious Good Guys doll (Chucky), both locked away in a hidden basement. As the couple’s young daughter unwittingly awakens both spirits, chaos erupts.
Fans were quick to light up social media after hearing Chucky’s sinister laugh echo through the trailer, followed by Annabelle’s lifeless stare appearing in a flickering mirror.
