Today, Sony Pictures shocked horror fans by releasing the first teaser trailer for Don’t Breathe 3 (2026) — and even though it’s just 45 seconds long, it’s already sending chills down viewers’ spines.

The third installment marks the haunting return of Stephen Lang as Norman Nordstrom, the iconic blind man who has blurred the lines between predator and victim across the series. But this time, he’s not alone: Georgina Campbell (best known from Barbarian) joins the cast as Eliza, a young woman who stumbles into a decaying house filled with dark, deadly secrets.

The teaser shows Eliza cautiously moving through the dark with only a flickering flashlight, her breaths quickening as faint sounds echo in the distance. Just when you think the screen will fade to black, a chilling silhouette — Norman himself — steps out of the shadows.

Director Rodo Sayagues returns to helm the project, promising to bring back the nail-biting suspense and claustrophobic terror that made the first film a modern classic, moving away from the more action-heavy direction of the second. According to made-up insider sources, the plot will dive deeper into Norman’s mysterious past — and even introduce a “secret apprentice” he once trained to become a second predator in the dark.

Don’t Breathe 3 is set for an October 2026 theatrical release, just in time for Halloween. Fans and critics alike are already buzzing with anticipation, eager to see if this third chapter can live up to (or even surpass) the tension and brilliance of the original.
