Seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton also weighed in, suggesting Red Bull’s actions were a sign of desperation. “We’ve seen this before—when things aren’t going their way, they try to stir things up off the track,” Hamilton remarked. “Excuses won’t win championships. Hard work and performance will. The FIA has made their decision, and it’s time to move on.”
Hamilton also praised McLaren and Ferrari for making significant progress, saying, “It’s great to see other teams closing the gap and making the fight more competitive. That’s what F1 should be about—proper racing, not pointless complaints.”

Following Red Bull’s protest, the FIA conducted a thorough investigation and ultimately rejected the claims. In an official statement, the governing body clarified that all rear wings in question complied with current technical regulations. “We have reviewed all relevant data and found no breach of regulations.
