Paramount Pictures has announced The Godfather 4: Legacy of the Family, a continuation of the legendary mafia saga. Directed by Francis Ford Coppola’s protégé, Luca Guadagnino (Call Me by Your Name, Bones and All), the film seeks to honor the spirit of the original trilogy while charting new territory in the Corleone family’s legacy.
Sylvester Stallone, an icon in his own right, will star as Michael Corleone’s estranged cousin, Vittorio Mancini, a character whose involvement with the family was kept in the shadows until now. Stallone, known for his gritty performances in Rocky and Rambo, brings a fresh yet familiar energy to the Corleone saga.
