Katie Holmes emerges for first time since ex Jamie Foxx threw major shade at her following six year romance

Katie Holmes was spotted for the first time since her ex boyfriend Jamie Foxx made an offensive comment about about being ‘cured’ from dating white women.

On Sunday, the actress, 45, put on a brave face as she flashed a tight smile while walking down the busy streets in New York City in a bright green, Elphaba-inspired coat.

At one point, she even stopped to pose in front of a Wicked musical poster.

She carried massive bouquet of flowers as she headed to the Ethel Barrymore Theatre for her matinee performance of the Broadway play, Our Town.

Her outing comes just days after Foxx’s special What Had Happened Was… hit Netflix. It featured a shady reference to their six year romance.

Sitting down at a piano, the Hollywood star sang: ‘Sisters, I’m here to tell you, I’ve been cured.

‘I’ve been cured of everything, no more white girls. I’m serious, no more white girls. No more white girls. No more. No more white girls.’

As audience members applauded and leapt out their seats, Jamie continued: ‘I’m back on the black side of town!

‘No more white girls. No more potato salad and raisins. No more white girls. No more spray tan, no more big t*tties no ass, no more white girls.’

Jamie has had several high-profile relationships over the years with both black and white women.

In 1993 he dated Connie Kline, and the pair went on to welcome daughter Connie one year later.

Between 1996 and 2001, he was linked to Haitian actress Garcelle Beauvais, before going on to date actress Leila Arcieri in 2005.

In 2008, Jamie dated Kristin Grannis, the mother of his second daughter, Anelise.

He then dated Katie from 2013 to 2019.

Following her split from Foxx, Katie dated chef Emilio Vitolo Jr. between 2020 and 2021 and was briefly linked to musician Bobby Wooten in 2022. The actress, who was married to Scientologist Tom Cruise from 2006 to 2012, is understood to be currently single.

Holmes is now enjoying focusing on her career since her daughter Suri started college at Carnegie Mellon in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and has been busy on Broadway.

Prior to her daughter’s move, Holmes opened up about how she was feeling with the transition.

‘I’m proud of my daughter,’ she told Town & Country. ‘Of course, I will miss the close proximity, but I’m really proud of her and I’m happy.’

She continued: ‘I remember being this age, this time of beginnings. It’s exciting to learn about yourself, and I loved that time, so it makes me happy to think about it like that.’

Holmes stars in the long-awaited revival of Thornton Wilder’s Pulitzer Prize-winning play — which will close in late January — along with The Big Bang Theory’s Jim Parsons and Zoey Deutch.

The day before, Holmes took to Instagram to share a selfie in the theater.

She also shared a photo of a stack of Playbills for the play as well as candid photos from their holiday party.

In her caption, she said she was ‘grateful’ to work with the talented cast and crew. ‘Saturday night on Broadway,’ she wrote.

‘I am so very grateful to be a part of @OurTownBroadway with this incredible group of actors during this holiday season.’

Holmes added: ‘Thank you to our wonderful audiences for our two show day.’

In a separate post, she also shared photos of her and her castmates meeting Santa Claus.

The jolly good fellow was one of her castmates, Donald Webber Jr., dressed in costume.

‘What a GREAT surprise! Thank you Santa for visiting our Saturday night post show party!!!!!! What a treat!!!!!!’

Previously, Holmes made her Broadway debut in the 2008 run of All My Sons.

Last year, she also starred in the off-Broadway production of playwright Anna Ziegler’s The Wanderers.
