Evander Holyfield, 62, wants a trilogy fight against Mike Tyson. This weekend, Tyson, 58, faced Jake Paul and had difficulty throwing punches due to a knee problem.
Holyfield attended the fight at AT&T Stadium and gave his honest assessment of Tyson’s performance.
“You could tell something was wrong with Tyson’s leg. He was losing his balance.”
Despite his lackluster performance, Holyfield criticized Tyson on social media. “The fans love him 🥊 #unfinishedbusiness,” Holyfield wrote.
Tyson immediately shut down any speculation about a fight against Holyfield.
“I love you bro, but the trilogy is our friendship.”
After his defeat, Tyson revealed that he had almost died before his fight against Paul.
“I almost died in June. I had eight blood transfusions. I lost half my blood and 11 kilos in the hospital and I had to fight to get back up and be able to fight, so I won.”
“For my 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren to see me fight and go eight rounds with a talented boxer half my age in front of a packed Dallas Cowboys stadium is an experience no man has the right to ask for. Thank you.”
