A murdered musician who is resurrected to avenge the deaths of himself and his fiancée.
“The Crow” is an upcoming American superhero movie directed by Rupert Sanders, based on a 1989 comic book series by James O’Barr. It’s a REBOOT and the fifth installment in The Crow film series. Bill Skarsgård stars as Eric Draven, a musician who comes back to life as The Crow to avenge his and his fiancée’s deaths, portrayed by FKA Twigs.
The film has a long history, starting development in December 2008 with Stephen Norrington’s plan to reinvent The Crow. It went through multiple directors, screenwriters, and cast members. Initially, Norrington, Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, F. Javier Gutiérrez, and Corin Hardy were set to direct. Actors Bradley Cooper, Luke Evans, Jack Huston, and Jason Momoa were all considered for the role of Eric Draven. Skarsgård was finally announced as Draven in April 2022, with Rupert Sanders as the director. Filming commenced in July, taking place in Prague and Munich.
WHEN AND WHERE TO WATCH:While no official release date is confirmed, The Crow is set to be theatrically released sometime in MID to LATE 2024. by Lionsgate, in the United States.
