General Hospital spoilers report Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) are ready to become parents.

As Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) has headed off to Washington to live with her father, Brook Lynn and Chase are left to pick up the pieces of their somewhat broken hearts and move on.

With plenty of drama kicking up dust around the mansion, it’s safe to say there are distractions to keep them pulled away from each other, but they’re not getting caught up in that.

However, that doesn’t mean they don’t have a hefty helping of their own drama headed their way. Will pregnancy come easy for this couple who only just started trying to conceive? If it doesn’t, will it spur demons from the past that Brook Lynn wasn’t trying to share?

General Hospital Spoilers — Infertility Woes Set In

Brook Lynn and Chase aren’t expecting any bumps in the road ahead. They want to have a 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑦 and naturally, they expect they’ll easily be able to.

If it’s true that Brook Lynn already had a 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 in the past — whom she gave up for adoption — as many fans suspect, then she is likely thinking she has nothing to worry about in the department.

But rumor has it pregnancy isn’t just going to happen for these two, and it could leave them on opposite sides of the fence about having 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren at all.

If the problem is on Chase’s end, he may take longer to process that news and decide whether he’s comfortable with adoption or other options than his wife is.

Moreover, if her health is the problem, Brook Lynn may come to question why she ever gave up her biological 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥.

On the other hand, this may come as a crushing blow that makes Brook Lynn wonder whether she is being punished by the Universe or God himself for having given up that 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑦 all those years ago.

Is this the ultimate price she was always destined to pay? She’s finally ready to be a mom and has the perfect man to build a family with and she’s not able to?

Or, perhaps she’s being penalized for lying about being Bailey Louise Jones’ (Miley and Riley Plonski) mother; she put Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and her whole family through quite a lot with that lie — even if some of it was for the right reasons.

Regardless, if Brook Lynn is left to face the truth that she may never carry another 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 again, it could leave her longing for the one she gave up and wanting to make sure he or she is okay. That might open a whole can of worms that this family isn’t necessarily ready for.

Furthermore, she hasn’t told Chase about this part of her past. Who is the 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑦’s father? Why did she choose adoption? Where is the 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 and what will she do if she tracks them down?
