Willow Smith has a large tattoo collection, and her recent selfie highlights one of them.
The 23-year-old singer posted a new Instagram snapshot of herself lost in thought over the weekend, shortly after announcing her Black Shield Maiden book tour across the US.
With her palm across her chin, Willow showed off a large tattoo on her front hand.
She received the stunning Saraswati artwork in 2021. In a post online, she said, “THANK YOU for adorning me with this beautiful representation of Saraswati (सरस्वती), the Hindu goddess of knowledge, music, art, speech, wisdom, and learning,” referring to tattoo artist Anka Lavriv.

\In addition to her tattoo, she has a little half moon on her finger and three lotus flowers on her arm, matching her mother, Jada Pinkett Smith, and grandmother, Adrienne Banfield-Norris.

Willow explained the tattoo’s meaning: “The lotus symbolizes spiritual enlightenment. The phrase goes, ‘Through the dirt grows the lotus’ I think everyone, from different perspectives, has experienced that trip.”
Willow has tattoos and piercings, including two nose rings. The singer loves to experiment with her appearance and clothes.
After answering a viral Instagram Q&A about her 𝓈ℯ𝓍uality and relationship preferences, the 23-year-old revealed her personal life.
She answered various questions, including one about her polyamorousness, which she revealed in 2021. Polyamory is when all parties agree to be open to several romantic partners.
She earlier stated on Red Table Talks that she would not have more than two partners, but that it was her relationship preference.
She said: “My marriage history annoys me. General marital history and what it has meant for women.
I think polyamory’s core idea is the ability to choose a relationship type that works for you, rather than just following the crowd into monogamy.
